Quality Knives MADE in CHINA

Due to some recent guides being published about the "POOR" quality of knives that say CHINA anywhere on them, I felt I must write to express my opinion on this topic.
In my many, many years of both collecting and selling knives, I have owned/sold hundreds if not thousands of knives either made or assembled in CHINA. I agree that some of the cheapest and least reliable knives can gee from there, but i have seen some of the BEST knives, with quality steel stamped CHINA as well.
My advise to the consumer is to do a little research and go with a "brand name" knife maker. Some of the greatest German, Italian, and U.S.knifemakers, offer quality lower cost alternatives that they have made in CHINA to there specifications. Such is the growing trend among the major cutlery gepanies. TAIWAN, SPAIN, and South America are other places where QUALITY knives are being produced for major brands.
The point is that NOT EVERYTHING that says CHINA is junk, in fact, as they move more towards a democratic business model, the quality of the products manufactured there is rising. Some of my favorite CHINA/TAIWAN made knives are from:
