Once there, click on EITHER Express Mail OR Priority Mail.
In Express Mail, click: EP 13-C, a sleeve, 11-5/8" X 15-1/8",
made of DuPont Tyvek (TM). OR, EP 13-F, a 9-1/2" X 12-1/2" sleeve
made of cardboard.
In Priority Mail, click on your choice;
a) EP 14, an 11-5/8" X 15-1/8" Tyvek sleeve.
b) EP 14-B, a 6" X 10" cardboard sleeve.
c) EP 14-F a 9-1/2" X 12-1/2" cardboard sleeve.
d) O-FRB1, a cardboard box, 11" X 8-1/2" X 5-1/2", or 514.25 cubic inches inside.
e) O-FRB2, another cardboard box, 11-5/8" X 3-3/8" X 13-5/8", or 546 cubic inches.
f) O-1096S, another cardboard box, 8-5/8" X 5-3/8" X 1-5/8", or 75.34 cubic inches.
All the above ship at a flat rate, except for "f)". That box ships for
$4.05 to the 48 states if it is 1 lb. or less, $6.05 if it is 17 oz. to
32 oz. The two flat rate boxes cost $8.10 to ship ANYWHERE in the
USA. ALL these are delivered, free, by your letter carrier.
Your letter carrier will pick them up, too, but she can NOT sell you
insurance. However, if you have an account which lets you print a
label with postage, the USPS will sell you insurance online, and
provide delivery notification for free!
NOTE that the USPS site has a Search function, but that they are so
stupid and ingepetent that if you enter THEIR stock numbers, it does
nothing. You can take this in stride, you deal with ingepetent
people every day.
Before shipping, double check your costs, Express Mail is MUCH
higher. You are not supposed to use those Tyvek sleeves as inner
packaging or as padding. They are very tough, but won't
withstand, say, a loose carving knife. Once at this site,
